How to read these guides

Every guide follows the same structure: a 60-second quick answer up top, a section on what is happening inside the tank, a step-by-step plan or decision tree, an explicit safety callout where relevant, a CTA back to the TGR2-X1 product page or the installation guide, and a short FAQ. Each guide is written to be useful on its own — you do not have to read them all.

If you have multiple symptoms at once, the Bradford White compatibility guide is the most common place to start because most tanks with one symptom have more than one. Owners of Bradford White and a few other brands need to confirm their anode port layout before ordering a powered titanium rod.

Two things to keep in mind across all guides:

• The sacrificial anode rod is the primary wear mechanism in every standard residential tank. Replacing magnesium or aluminum with a powered titanium anode like the TGR2-X1 removes the wear mechanism entirely.
• Annual sediment flushing doubles the maintenance gain you get from a new anode. Power and water quality compound together.
