Wrap threads with Teflon tape. Drop in the aurauto rod. Snug with the included 1-3/16" socket — do not over-tighten.
Plug the 12V adapter into any 110V outlet. Snap the ground clip to the tank. Confirm the green LED is solid.

For Bradford White and similar tanks where the anode is in the hot water outlet, the TGR2-X1 should not be installed.
